New Caledonia Tourism is encouraging Kiwi agents to experience the destination with a new self-famil program launched in conjunction with Aircalin’s industry fares.
Julie Laronde, ceo of New Caledonia Tourism, tells Travel Today that the New Zealand market remains a strategic priority for the organisation, as it sees a spark of renewed interest from Kiwis eager to rediscover New Caledonia. As such, the NTO is rolling out a ‘recovery and reactivation strategy’, which features a multi-layered approach to re-engage the trade and consumers. “For trade, we are launching a self-famil program in conjunction with SB’s new industry fares, allowing agents to experience the destination first-hand,” she says. “We’re also supporting this with upcoming tactical campaigns in partnership with key tour operators and airline partners.”
. . . New Campaign
New Caledonia Tourism also plans to launch a new brand campaign in Jul, A New Chapter Awaits, co-branded with Aircalin. “And to keep the momentum going, we’re planning a trade relaunch event, a mini-workshop, and a series of famils later in the year,” adds Laronde. “All are designed to reinforce trade confidence and rebuild destination knowledge.”
